Explore and play in the city centre

Continue to Bakkestranda, where you’ll find a swimming spot and play area, as well as the popular “Rottejomfruen” sculpture.

In Porsgrunn, DuVerden is a highlight for curious children. This interactive science centre and maritime museum invites them to explore, play and learn through hands-on activities. Nearby, you’ll also find several playgrounds and pleasant places to take a break along the riverside promenade.
